Corrie Davidson discovered her love of film work early in highschool in Annapolis, MD. She eventually started her own production company focusing on the local music scene with music videos, concert footage, and graphic design. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004, double majoring in Mass Communications with a Film Studies emphasis and Theatre Arts. Her independent studies included two promotional pieces for the University's Judicial Services Department and Women's Center.

In her theatre studies she worked on mainstage productions as a properties mistress, electrician, stagehand, wardrobe mistress, set construction, board operator, and assistant director. She also directed and acted in a number of both short and long-form pieces. She worked for the Theatre Department's summer productions as a member of the wardrobe team, constructing and maintaining costumes as well as assisting actors with wardrobe and makeup during shows.
